Mary Ranken Jordan and Ettie A. Jordan Charitable Foundation Awards Grant to KITM
ST. LOUIS (July 1, 2022) – Kids In The Middle (KITM) is proud to announce that the Agency has been awarded a $7,500 grant from the Mary Ranken Jordan and Ettie A. Jordan Charitable Foundation. The funds will help provide Group and Individual Counseling for children experiencing difficult family transitions.
“We are continuously grateful to the Jordan Charitable Foundation for years of support towards our mission,” says Katy Walter, CEO of KITM. “They understand the need to provide children with the necessary support and opportunities to help them achieve goals and transition into adulthood in a healthy manner.”
The Mary Ranken Jordan and Ettie A. Jordan Charitable Foundation is a private foundation in Milwaukee, WI, founded in 1958. They emphasize giving to the arts, education, and children’s health and welfare, including a pediatric rehabilitation center.
KITM will not turn families away because of an inability to pay for counseling services. The Agency uses a sliding scale fee process, and families pay what they can afford. In 2021, KITM helped 2,079 children, parents, and families heal from the trauma of divorce and separation. This is made possible through the generosity of foundations such as the Mary Ranken Jordan and Ettie A. Jordan Charitable Foundation, individual and corporate grants, the United Way of Greater St. Louis, and the Children’s Services Fund.
