Kids In The Middle Welcomes New CDO, Stephanie Enger-Moreland

ST. LOUIS (February 21, 2023) – Kids In The Middle (KITM), a nonprofit counseling agency, is pleased to announce Stephanie Enger-Moreland as the new Chief Development Officer (CDO). Moreland began her role on February 20, 2023.

“Stephanie’s development skills and community connections will be a huge asset to the organization,” says Erin Eberhard, CEO of KITM. “Her proven ability to lead in management and fundraising efforts will only help us to achieve our mission to the community further,” Eberhard continues. “I am thrilled for her to be a part of the Kids In The Middle team and to provide her professional experience in our continued growth.”

Moreland earned her MA in Nonprofit Administration from Lindenwood University. From 2018-2022, she worked at Circle of Concern as the Director of Volunteers and Special Events. Most recently, she worked with The Marfan Foundation as the Manager of Community Programs. With these two significant roles under her belt, Moreland gained the knowledge and experience of coordinating outreach and awareness efforts, planning and overseeing fundraising events, creating and maintaining donor relationships, and managing programs and volunteers. This past year, Moreland gained knowledge of Kids In The Middle as a member of the Board of Directors, where she provided expertise in fundraising and special events.  

“I am incredibly excited about this opportunity and lending my skills to the team and organization,” says new CDO Stephanie Enger-Moreland. “Being a part of the board at Kids In The Middle, I’ve seen firsthand how vital these services are and the importance of making them accessible to the community,” Moreland continues. “I look forward to continuing and furthering our impact on the children and families we serve in my new role.”

In the new position, Moreland will be responsible for achieving Kids In the Middle’s fundraising goals by providing vision, oversight, and coordination of the fund development and associated marketing efforts of the Agency. Her proven ability to plan, organize, and direct all fundraising efforts, along with her experience in overseeing the development and implementation of marketing strategies, makes her an asset to the organization.
